Warehouse sites break the rules that suit shops and offices: long cable runs, high ceilings, racking that blocks signal, and an office that's a small part of a big building. We plan fibre or copper based on distance, place access points for scanner coverage between racking, and cover dock and yard with cameras.

Coverage that survives full racking
Wi-Fi tested in an empty warehouse often fails once racking is loaded. We plan for the loaded state and check coverage in the aisles, not just from the office door.
Questions we get asked
How do you handle cable runs longer than 100 metres?
Copper has a practical limit around 100 metres, so beyond that we run fibre to a secondary switch or cabinet and take copper from there.
Can you cover the yard with cameras?
Yes, using outdoor-rated cameras with the right lenses and lighting considered, installed under our Victorian security licence.
